Bordering the great Anciaun cobra is a colossal, jagged bluff that casts a shadow over the caves when the sun sets, its fierce pinnacles shielding the sunlight from entering. Various scorpions, rattlesnakes, and other hazardous creatures inhabit the crevasses, spelling imminent demise for some, but desert-faring rodents sometimes linger to be made a meal of by a passing lupine. Members of the cadre are usually quiet here, as the slightest sound rebounds and reverberates until it roars through the rock face.
