Oh yes, rules. (: How horrible. Eh, well, here they are...
Broken rules are not met kindly. I understand that most of the time it's not intentionally, but that doesn't change the fact. If you're not sure if your wolf breaches the rules, don't PM me. x3 Go check the vocabulary page. If /that/ doesn't clarify it for you, then you can send me a PM.
- You /must/ be literate. This includes using good grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, etc.
- Try not to use one-liners. n__n;;; This is not a chat, it's a message board. Replies are not instant. You'll have time to type a lengthy, quality post.
- Furthermore, unless you see that someone's in Ithildin by the stats at the bottom, don't sit around and wait for your post to be answered... Much less give the "Post or I'll leave!!!111oneoneone" threat... That's just annoying.
- It's nice to have a good vocabulary, as well. On most Word programs, you can highlight a word and push Shift+F7 for a thesaurus. But don't overuse language. xD "Towers" and "pistons" have nothing to do with ears or legs.
- No despies! -Shudder- D: This means roleplaying purely to find a girlfriend, boyfriend,
- No godmoding or powermoding. Fighting rules are in the... well, fighting rules section.
- ...No Mary Sues. Seriously. They're quite annoying, and will probably get killed or seriously injured. -Cough-
- Please... Don't kill or mortally injure a character without their permission. Even then, you shouldn't be godmoding, so shame on you. D:
- Wings, elements, jewelry, odd colors, etc. are allowed, but to an extent. Don't overdo it. I won't accept a lime green wolf covered in orange lightning bolts. Again. Know your limits.
- Be unique! Add markings or jewelry, peculiar scars or bizarre features. n__n;;; Again, just don't overwhelm us. Giving a wolf an accent is okay. It adds local color and makes your character more interesting. But if your post is so littered with 'thy's and 'thou's that it's impossible to decipher, you're crossing the boundary, there. xD Keep it simple in that respect.
